Rope and Photography Workshop with Barbara Nitke and Lew Rubens
Would you like to hone your skills at bondage rigging and photographing beautiful rope scenes? Bring your own cameras and lots of rope! Join photographer Barbara Nitke and rope artist Lew Rubens as they show you how to stage that amazing rope photograph. Please note that this is an advanced workshop. You must have basic rope skills and basic photography skills.
Lew will start things off with some of the basics to make your rope work photograph ready. Then Barbara will share a few of her tips and tricks to light and photograph rope scenes. After their demonstration, they will both assist the attendees in creating their own very special rope scenes to photograph.
This is a hands-on workshop with a limited number of attendees. All attendees of the workshop will be required to sign a photography waiver, one for photographers and one for models. Everyone who attends the workshop agrees to be photographed. Attendees must follow all Crucible dungeon rules, and all scenes must be finished at the end of the workshop.

2:00pm-2:10pm: Intro of Barbara and Lew and the ground rules
2:10pm-2:20: Lew: Rope for photography
2:20pm-2:30pm: Barbara: Photography for Rope
2:30pm-4:00pm: Lew and Barbara stage a scene and photograph it
4:00pm-5:30pm: Attendees stage their own bondage scenes to photograph, with Lew and Barbara advising
